This Privacy Policy describes how VisualAim ("we", "us") handles information in connection with our website (visualaim.xyz) and the VisualAim AI desktop software. We take privacy seriously — the software is designed to process everything locally on your Windows machine.

2. What We Collect

Website

When you visit visualaim.xyz, standard web server logs may be generated that include your IP address, browser type, referring page, and pages visited. This data is used solely for site reliability and security monitoring and is not sold or shared with third parties.

Purchase & License

When you buy a license, payment is processed by Paddle (paddle.com). We receive from Paddle only what is necessary to fulfill your order: your email address and the license tier purchased. We do not receive or store your card number or billing address.

• Email address — used to deliver your license key and send essential transactional messages (e.g., license confirmation, expiry reminders).
• License key & status — stored to validate your access to the software.
• Hardware identifier (HWID) — a unique identifier derived from your CPU and GPU used to bind the license to your machine and prevent key sharing. This value is only ever sent in the license validation request.

The Desktop Software

The software runs fully locally. It does not capture, transmit, or store your screen content, detections, or input events. The only external call the software makes is a license validation ping to api.visualaim.xyz at startup, which sends your license key and HWID and nothing else.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Deliver and validate your license.
• Send transactional emails related to your purchase (receipts, expiry notices).
• Respond to support requests you initiate by email.
• Maintain site and API security and uptime.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the service.

4. Third-Party Services

• Paddle (paddle.com) — payment processing. Subject to Paddle's Privacy Policy.
• Resend — transactional email delivery for license and support messages.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain your email address and license record for as long as your license is active plus a reasonable period afterwards for support and legal purposes. You may request deletion at any time by contacting support@visualaim.xyz — we will remove your data within 30 days unless retention is required by law or ongoing dispute resolution.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including HTTPS for all web traffic and encrypted storage for license keys. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable precautions proportionate to the limited data we hold.

7. Children

The Software and website are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact support@visualaim.xyz. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the latest revision. Significant changes will be posted on this website. Continued use of the software or website after changes constitutes acceptance.
